TIME PAINTED TODAY
Time painted today, I watched it all happen. It’s not often I would but today I was still. And time grafted today, into something beautiful.

And it was one rock to another, one jut to the other, for everyone. On a canvass made of water, with giant brush strokes, painted by the sun.

And while I was away, the picture goes and changes. And steals my happiness and daubs the pages. And those that are sat down and listening from the pews. And I feel ten foot tall, just thinking of you.

And now you’re lying on the strand, and wishing planes off to America, and you’re dreaming under the stars and close the smiling eyes forever.
